Apparently the videogames sector is entering a slower growth phase. That gives an idea of the size and importance it has achieved. As SuperData details, the video game industry generated $ 120.1 billion in 2019, about 110 billion euros.
But if something attracts attention, in addition to the vertigo numbers of the sector, it is that mobile titles are already more than half of the revenue of the video game industry. Of the 120.1 billion dollars generated by the industry last year, 64,000 million are revenues from mobile games.
According to SuperData, in 2019, the sector has billed 120.1 billion dollars (around 107.490 million euros). It is 3% more than in 2018. It is expected that in 2020 the revenue figure will grow 4%, to almost 125,000 million dollars.
Of the 120,100 million dollars, 64,000 million are for mobile games; 29,600 million for PC titles; and 15.4 billion for games for game consoles. The rest includes 6,500 million dollars of videos related to video games and 6,300 million extended reality.
