Naughty Dog remains silent since they announced the delay of The Last of Us Part II (just a month after unveiling the release date), their expected new game for PlayStation 4.
If we access the page of The Last of Us Part II, we can see in the lower right the usual label of the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board). And this label highlights two mentions that until now had not appeared in any Nauthy Dog game: nudity (nudes) and sexual content.
The first does not need explanation; In fact, if we have been attentive to the trailers, it shouldn’t surprise us
The second does deserve a little explanation, because if we remember the label of the first The Last of Us, it included sexual themes. What is the difference between the two? The ESRB page itself explains:
Sexual Themes: references to sex or sexuality.
Sexual Content: non-explicit representation of sexual behaviors, possibly including partial nudity.
So you see, The Last of Us 2 will be the first Naughty Dog game that includes such situations (or, at least, that’s how the ESRB considered it)
