Call of Duty has been played longer than the entire existence of humanity

One of the most acclaimed and beloved franchises by thousands of players worldwide is, without a doubt, Call of Duty. Originally created in 2003, it already has 16 console / PC games and a game for mobile devices launched during the 17 years of the franchise’s existence.

The figures point to the more than 300 million copies sold by the saga since its origin and about 80 hours of average use in each delivery. The total? More than 25 billion total game according to UberFacts. Some numbers that are scary, since they are more than the human being has occupied the planet Earth.

25 billion hours in the game, with about 2.85 million years. Since the oldest human remains found by researchers are approximately 200,000 years old, the Activision shooter was played 14 times more than human history.

Another curious fact is that if you wanted to assign all those hours played among the 7.8 billion people that inhabit our planet today, each person on Earth would have played 3.6 hours of Call of Duty.
