Sony announces new State of Play for next December 10

The Japanese company will then dedicate 20 minutes to show new announcements, news and updates on its releases in the coming months.

The chosen time will be 6:00 am pacific time, and today there is absolutely no leaks or anything that resembles the news that Sony could present. In the brief tweet they simply mention “20 minutes of news, game announcements and updates”, and based on that basis, everything is possible speculation. Some of them come from an insider recognized as Daniel Ahmad, who has spoken that for example Resident Evil 3 will be present at this event, being his presentation in society in theory scheduled for an event prior to The Game Awards. As Geoff Keighley has assured, this new remake by Capcom will not be present at the event.
