THE STADIA DE GRID VERSION WOULD ALLOW CAREERS UP TO 40 PLAYERS

GRID was released a few weeks ago for PlayStation, Xbox One and PC. The driving video game also anticipated that it would soon be on the platform of Google Stadia, the streaming service that will arrive on November 19.

Mark Green, GRID development director, commented in an interview for Wccftech the features that the video game would have in the version for Google Stadia, the streaming platform. He spoke specifically about the ideas for multiplayer and the advantages offered by the platform.

Perhaps the area with the biggest difference was the transmission, but also Stadia’s ability to talk with other users quickly transforms some ideas into multiplayer mode. For example, developing a completely new mode for GRID Stadia that has 40 cars on the track at the same time, something that is simply not possible with other hardware.

In fact, Mark Green highlighted throughout the interview that the PC version is the closest to this new Stadia. However, only Stadia would have allowed to develop a game mode that included 40 people running in the same race. Leaving aside the chaos factor that that implies in-game.

Finally, the director of GRID clarified that there is no specific date for the launch of the video game in Stadia, but he said it will not exceed the end of 2019.
