The leaks around the Intel Core i7-1185G continue, and this leak is the juiciest of all, since it reveals the difference in gaming performance compared to the AMD Ryzen 7 4800U. To put ourselves in context, the Intel processor is a Tiger Lake @ 10nm SuperFin with 4 Willow Cove cores and 8 processing threads that is expected to finally reach a Base / Turbo frequency of 3.00 / 4.80 GHz accompanied by Intel Xe graphics with 768 Execution Units @ 1.65 GHz reaching a TDP of 28W.

The AMD Ryzen 7 4800U is a processor with 8 cores and 16 threads under the Zen2 @ 7nm microarchitecture with Base / Turbo frequencies of 1.80 / 4.20 GHz, Radeon Vega 8 graphics (512 Stream Processors @ 1750 MHz) and a TDP of 15W.

As we can see from the leaked Intel video, the Core i7-1185G7 is up to 76% faster than the AMD Ryzen 7 4800U in the Gears Tactics, 52% in the Total War Saga: Troy, 49% in the Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and 82% faster in GRID (2019). We will have to wait for the first real reviews to see if all things being equal this advantage is maintained or there were some differences such as the use of memories of different speeds.
