Publication suggests that the sequel to God of War is already in development
It was obvious that after obtaining the GOTY 2018 and becoming one of the most successful PS4 exclusives, God of War would have the green light for a sequel in what this new stage in the history of Kratos supposes. Although SIE Santa Monica has not revealed anything, the expectation is that they are already working on a new installment that would arrive in the future for PS5 and at the moment the only information option is to be attentive to the clues left by the development team.
A report from GamesRadar released the recent publication made by Kim Newman, narrative animator for SIE Santa Monica, through his official Twitter account, where he is shown in a motion capture session. Along with the image, Newman celebrated being back in the suit, which suggests that the process of developing a game is already underway in Sony’s studio.
As expected, the publication immediately turned on the hype for God of War and although there is no way to confirm that the session corresponds to a sequel, fans believe that the now awaited game is already taking shape.
