Netflix Announces Assassin’s Creed Live Action Series

Netflix announced today that it will develop a live-action series based on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise. A showrunner is currently being sought.

Ubisoft’s Senior Vice President of Film and Television, Jason Altman, and Director of Television Development, Danielle Kreinik, will serve as executive producers on the series.

“For more than 10 years, millions of fans around the world have helped turn the Assassin’s Creed brand into an iconic franchise,” Altman said in a press release. “We are delighted to create an Assassin’s Creed series with Netflix and look forward to developing the next saga in the Assassin’s Creed universe.”
