NetherRealm has announced a new DLC for Mortal Kombat 11.
The Aftermath expansion includes a story expansion, three skin packs, and three playable characters. The most prominent is Robocop, which will also be played by Peter Weller as in the first two films.
The story will focus on Shang Tsung, Nightwolf and Fujin, who were unable to participate in the campaign story but were able to witness the events. Now they must unite to travel through time and avoid the continuity of space-time being jeopardized. Here you can see a scene from the new story
Fujin, who debuted in Mortal Kombat 4, is one of three new playable characters, alongside the aforementioned Robocop and Sheeva, the semi-human semi-dragon who began her career in the series in its third installment.
Beyond the paid content, Mortal Kombat 11 will receive a free update with two classic scenarios (Klassic Dead Pool and Soul Chamber) and two types of classic finisher: stage fatalities and Friendship
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will be released on May 26 on all platforms.
