Ban Plague Inc. in China in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak

We recently told you that, before the outbreak of coronavirus, the number of users of Plague Inc., the pandemic game, skyrocketed worldwide. Now there is bad news for its developers, since its game was banned in China.

Through a statement, Ndemic Creations announced that Plague Inc. was banned in China and, therefore, removed from the application store in this country. This after the China Cyberspace Administration determined that it has “content that is illegal in China.”

Ndemic Creations said it is unaware if this decision is related to the outbreak of coronavirus that emerged in Wuhan, China. That is why he stressed the educational importance of Plague Inc. and noted that they are working with global health teams to see how they can help contain and control COVID-19.

The study made it clear that, for the moment, the situation is beyond their control and they cannot do anything to return the game to the hands of the players in China.
