Dragons and Dungeons returns to video games with the spiritual successor of the Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance saga. This is Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance, an action title developed by Tuque that will give us the chance to fight in the frozen worlds of Icewind Dale, located in the Forgotten Realms. The game, built with a hack and slack structure, will lead us to explore dungeons to find all kinds of treasures. It has been officially announced during the 2019 The Game Awards gala.
Dark Alliance will feature some iconic characters from the Forgotten Realms, a saga created by R.A. Salvatore that has role-playing video games, board games and novels. “Drizzt and his companions are some of the best-known heroes of Dungeons & Dragons,” explains Nathan Stewart, head of the Dragons and Dungeons franchise. “This new Dark Alliance will give players a visceral experience that will immerse them fully in the action to discover the story of Drizzt as never before told.”
